EXPATitans

EXPATitans is the third book in the trilogy and provides a unique combination of inspirational success stories about Americans who have not just survived the transformation from being a “guest” in another country to really embracing their new place of residence as “home” and also discovering the many wonderful and unexpected benefits from their choice to become EXPATs.

Many of these are just “average Americans” who have found a liberating, fresh, and “new definition of wealth” for themselves, their families, friends, and loved ones, that’s not based just on “America's obscene, almost manic consumerism” and what the late comedian, George Carlin, spotlighted as being the Americans' blind obsession with the accumulation of “stuff, stuff... and more stuff!”

Some of these American EXPATs have found great joy and satisfaction in living very simple lives. Others live at a level of comfort and luxury and at such a low cost of living that could only be dreamed of if they still lived in the States.

But all of them have in common a level of gratitude that they have found their bliss where they now live, that had escaped them “Back home” in the USA.

But perhaps most importantly, EXPATitans is about Americans who didn’t take advantage of the local economy nor exploited the many less financially blessed locals, but rather contribute to their new home country and its populace with jobs, teaching their skill sets, contributing time, money, and themselves to make it both a better place for themselves and for those who’ve welcomed the Americans into their home as EXPATs.

These American EXPATs stand out as real Titans and examples of the millions more like them that make us all proud to be counted within their ranks.
